Arianna's Birth Family Visit

Last Saturday Ari and I had a girl's road trip up to Kansas City to visit with her birth parents. We went to Diana Rose Farmpark in the morning to meet Tyson, his fiance, and his new baby. We had a blast. Then we met Lindsey downtown and she took Ari to the Aquarium. They had an amazing time and Ari loved seeing all the fish.

Deven's Birthday

Deven is 8! I am so proud of him. I am proud of the boy he is becoming. He has come so far in this last year. He is a different little boy and yesterday was the happiest I have ever seen him. He chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I have never seen him beam brighter. I know that it is the power of God that has turned taken his sad experiences and brought true joy to his life. He still has a very long road to follow (we all do) but he is on the right one and I am see him growing up every day.
We had a water party on Friday and then he was baptized Saturday morning.

2014-2015 School Year

This last school year I have been running my own little homeschooling "school." Seven other families participated and we had skill levels from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I hired one of my past students to be my assistant and we had a blast. We met twice a week for 2 hours a day and went on field trips every other month. Here are some pictures from the school year...

We had our end of the year party at my assistant's farm. It has been an amazing year. I am so grateful for all the families that supported us.

Everyone, me included, has grown so much this year. I am excited for next year!

St. Louis/Grants Farm Trip

We went to St. Louis this weekend. We celebrated by birthday with my family, went to the temple and enjoyed a trip to Grants Farm. The weather was great, just a had a little rain at the end :)

I think Charlie was jealous that we left her to go feed goats, so she wanted to prove to us that she could be just as fun as a goat...
