6 Months

I wish I could post a "Dear Deven" post for our six month mark, but it will have to wait until the adoption is finalized. But I can say that Ben and I are overjoyed to have Deven in our home. We couldn't imagine life without him. He is our son. I wish I had better words to describe that feeling. I didn't realize it could be so strong. Deven is my son, I love him more than I can express, so here are some pictures to enjoy instead :)

Mother's Day

We have had a very busy weekend. My baby sister, Sierra, graduated from nursing school on Saturday, we are so proud of her!! I will post pictures of that as I edit them, I took 450 :) We all were able to get together in Fayetteville for the ceremony, which meant we were together for Mother's day. We went to brunch at our hotel  with my mom and sisters. Then Ben, me, and the kids met Ben's family at the cemetery where his mom is buried. It was a wonderful weekend and Ben and I realized that this is probably the most family our kids have ever seen in such a short period of time...

Easter

We had our second annual Easter Egg hunt, and it was a blast. But, I have to say, it is hard to entertain and be a mom at the same time. I kept realizing that it was my child that was running into the street, it was my child that was covered in chocolate and had wrappers all over the floor, or it was my children that hadn't eaten any dinner :)  We had about 50 people, over half were children, I didn't get as many pictures as I had wanted to, but enjoy!
